Het contact is ontzettend fijn. Janneke denkt mee in mogelijkheden en smaken. Al het lekkers zag er prachtig uit. We hebben enorm veel complimenten ontvangen vanuit gasten. Na de huwelijksreis heeft Janneke een kleine versie van onze bruidstaart gemaakt. Deze hebben wij tijdens het bekijken van foto’s en film met familie gegeten. Dit bracht ons allemaal weer even terug naar deze mooie dag. Janneke is echt een aanrader voor elk bruidspaar!”

Janneke was very easy to talk to and always kept us up to date (e.g., let us know if something came up / some decision was to be made).

For an in-person meeting, Janneke prepared several small cakes so that we can taste different flavors. We really loved the flavors (ordered 3 of the 4 different flavors she had prepared – one for each tier of the cake). Additionally, we discussed different ideas for what we wanted the cake to look like and she was open to all our wishes and sketched the cake with a pencil so that there were no misunderstandings.

On our wedding day, the cake looked exactly how we had imagined it (we would not change a thing) and even more importantly: The flavors were as great as they had been at our cake testing; we had expected that the cake would at least be a little worse if the cake is “mass-produced” for 60 rather than 2 people (which would have been completely understandable), but there was no loss in quality, whatsoever!

As you might read between the lines, we are very happy about this whole experience – so much so that we will order a smaller version of the cake for our 1-year wedding anniversary. We cannot recommend Janneke enough!
